HTL Property experts Glenn Price and Andrew Jolliffe have been appointed by Armada Hotels & Leisure to market the Greenfield Tavern site for sale with the highly regarded Zuccoli Aspire residential development plans.
Armada Hotels & Leisure, the owners of the Greenfield Tavern site within the highly regarded Zuccoli Aspire residential development in Palmerston, on the outskirts of Darwin, are set to test the appetite of the pub market in coming weeks with their much-awaited Parkside Tavern.
Strategically positioned at the junction of Bloodwood Street and Tuckaroo Boulevard, the planned Parkside Tavern is ideally situated to serve the rapidly growing community.
Offered for sale as a “Turn Key” offering, the owners are looking to work alongside a Hotel owner operator, constructing the pub, then handing over to the incoming owner/operator upon construction completion.
Armada Hotels & Leisure have engaged the leading national Hotel brokerage firm, HTL Property, to market the opportunity via a national Expression of Interest campaign. ZestDCA have been contracted as the builder for the construction.
“Opportunities such as the approved Greenfield site in Zuccoli are as rare as they are valuable, particularly given the moratorium on new licenses in the NT” advised HTL Property Director, Glenn Price.
“We are of the belief that both hoteliers domiciled in the NT, and those from the wider national hotel market, will respond favorably to this opportunity and with great enthusiasm.
The NT Pub market has arrived on the national stage, with hoteliers from all states of Australia owning and operating hotels in the nation’s top end. Given the nature of the opportunity and when considering the size and location of the site, it is expected that there will be interest nationally from leading private and corporate groups, private family offices and individual publicans throughout the campaign” Price added.
“The area’s continued strong growth in terms of the number of new residents and private residences, directly supports the requirement for local amenities and service s, including hospitality venues such as that contemplated by the Zuccoli Parkside Tavern” commented HTL Property’s Managing Director, Andrew Jolliffe.
“Further, the augmenting population numbers and diversified economic stimulators within the catchment area, provides a stable foundation for the hotel’s long-term success, ensuring it remains a key social and community focal point in line with the very clear demand drivers” Jolliffe concluded.
“We want to create a pub for the whole community. We feel that the pub needs to be positioned as a strong F&B offering, the Tavern is designed to provide versatile spaces for dining, entertainment, and social gatherings. With a variety of features and facilities, including indoor and outdoor dining areas, a large main bar, bistro, beer garden and a license for 20 gaming machines. The Tavern is well poised to become a central recreational hub for the south Palmerston community” commented David Anthony, owner of Armada Hotels & Leisure.
Expressions of Interest for the Tavern will conclude Wednesday 14th November 2024.
