The Narrabeen RSL Memorial & Recreation Club, located at 116 Nareen Parade, North Narrabeen sold by Nick Lower and Tim Grosmann, of Savills Australia and New Zealand on behalf of the Narrabeen RSL sub-branch, to a local developer.
A prime 1.884-hectare site formerly the Narrabeen RSL Memorial & Recreation Club, has been sold for $15,400,000. The property, purchased by a local developer, features a 2-3 storey L-shaped building, three lawn bowling greens, and significant potential for redevelopment.
Located at 116 Nareen Parade, North Narrabeen, the iconic building once housed several key amenities, including a gaming machine room, multiple lounge areas, an auditorium, dining room, office spaces, function rooms, and 39 on-site car parking spaces.
The transaction was brokered by Nick Lower, National Director of Hotels and Tim Grosmann, Director of Commercial Sales at Savills Australia and New Zealand on behalf of the Narrabeen RSL sub-branch.
Commenting on the sale, Nick Lower said, "This site represents a rare opportunity in the tightly held Northern Beaches market with the property’s substantial size and existing infrastructure making it a prime target for a developer with the vision to repurpose it for future use, while maintaining its strong local ties."
Tim Grosmann added, "This sale underscores the ongoing demand for unique, large-scale sites in key coastal markets like Narrabeen and the strong interest we received reflects the confidence investors and developers have in the long-term growth prospects of this area."
The sale of 116 Nareen Parade is expected to play a significant role in the future development of North Narrabeen, providing new opportunities for the local community.
