ResortBrokers NSW Mid North Coast agent Joshua Roberts has settled the sale of the freehold going concern Twin Dolphins Holiday Park in Tuncurry on New South Wales’ Mid North Coast for $8.7 million.
Owned by the same family for the last 18 years, the 107-site park, comprising 25 cabins and 82 caravan sites, was sold to a purchaser in ResortBrokers’ buyer network who had previously bought the 115-site Colonial Tweed Holiday & Home Park at Tweed Heads through the agency in 2021.“Twin Dolphins offered scale in a prime tourist destination but with a significant number of permanents and semi-permanents to mitigate against off-peak holiday season,” says Mr Roberts.
“The park is already trading exceptionally well. Occupancy is at an annualised 65%, with many repeat guests, which reflects the vendor’s efforts in cultivating the park’s family friendly atmosphere.”
“Still, the buyer saw plenty of scope to increase revenue of this exceptional business.”
Twin Dolphins’ facilities include a full-size saltwater pool, barbeque area, kitchen, laundry, two amenities’ blocks, as well as a two-storey seven-bedroom manager’s residence and separate two-bedroom cottage.
