Kakadu is set to undergo major upgrading of its tourism infrastructure and resources, with access to major attractions enhanced, refurbishments to tourism facilities completed, and a new format announced for the region’s showcase culinary festival, A Taste of Kakadu.

Glamping will make a return in Kakadu from this Saturday as the Cooinda Lodge reopens its Outback Retreat tents for the first time since March.

Kakadu’s longest-established tourism accommodation operator, Cooinda Lodge & Camping, is marking the 40th anniversary of Kakadu National Park by unveiling a complete refurbishment of its Lodge rooms as well as the launch in June of the new glamping village Dreaming @ HomeBillabong.
