Sunshine Coast Airport Winter season sees record number of visitors
The Sunshine Coast Airport has enjoyed its best-ever Winter season, increasing passenger movements by over 11% to 304,487 for the three months of Winter when compared to 2017.

Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion Project takes off
The first sod has been turned on the construction of the $303 million Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion Project, the Sunshine Coast Council's single largest construction project ever undertaken, delivering a wealth of benefits to the region.
Sunshine Coast Council's largest construction project will now get underway, with council announcing John Holland has been awarded a contract worth around $225 million.
