JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group is excited to announce the discreet, off market sale of Brady’s Railway Hotel in Albury New South Wales Sold for $9.6 million.
The Brady’s Railway hotel was sold on behalf of long-term private owners, the Attwood family, who retire from the hotel industry following a stellar career across NSW including major regional locations throughout the Central West and Riverina regions.
JLL Hotels Senior Vice President, Ben McDonald, facilitated the transaction advising the purchaser, Sydney-based unlisted Pub Fund, Harvest Hotels (‘Harvest’), who add Brady’s Railway Hotel to their growing stable of assets including the newly refurbished Court House Hotel in Tamworth.
Mr McDonald noted, “Brady’s Railway Hotel is a large format regional asset that represents a unique trading proposition in one of regional NSW’s strongest performing locations, Albury. The acquisition further highlights the ongoing confidence in the pub market despite fluctuating economic conditions and underscores the demand for operating real estate assets in key growth markets.”
‘Harvest’, spearheaded by Chris Cornforth and Fraser Haughton, see genuine opportunity in key regional locations throughout NSW and hold a firm view on the positive role the hotel industry plays and will continue to play in their respective markets.
This sale is one in a flurry of forthcoming announcements for JLL Hotels with transactions throughout metropolitan Sydney, regional and coastal NSW hotel markets exceeding $175 million.
