Vista Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Jordan Rodgers as Regional General Manager and Stuart Nielsen to the position of Head of Growth & Development as the innovative new hotel management company bolsters its executive team.
Both are new roles for Vista, a joint venture between Pro-invest Group and Next Story Group launched just 12 months ago to bring a new-era approach to hotel management by pioneering third party and white label management in Australasia. The industry first offering combines a portfolio of seven brands and 15 properties with a market leading suite of hospitality resources and versatile best-brand-fit capability.
Jordan Rodgers will oversee the operations and performance of Vista’s current mid-market to luxury hotel portfolio including Next Melbourne, Ink Melbourne, voco Brisbane, Hotel Indigo Brisbane and The Sebel Canberra along with the collection of Sage and Country Comfort properties around Australia. As an experienced hotelier and hospitality manager holding leadership roles for Crystalbrook Collection, Thredbo Apline Resort, IHG and Rydges, Jordan is charged with taking the portfolio’s hotels to leading positions in each of its markets.
“I’m looking forward to working with our 15 hotels to bring the different brands to life through our talented people and elevate our ESG positioning,” says Rodgers.
Stuart Nielsen’s appointment to Head of Growth and Development is key to ambitious plans for Vista Hospitality Group to cement their third party management and white label offering in Australasia.
With thirty years experience in the hotel sector across operations, openings and rebrandings for ACCOR, IHG, TFE Hotels and Condé Nast International, Neilsen will draw on his decades of insights to help owners and investors identify ways to optimise their assets:
“Vista’s multi-dimensional approach is redefining how owners can operate their hotels and I’m particularly looking forward to bringing the impressive bench strength from Vista and Pro-invest Group to hotel conversions, repositionings and third party management,” says Nielsen.
Vista Hospitality Group’s Director, Patrick Imbardelli, congratulated both Rodgers and Nielsen on their appointments:
“Both of these senior appointments signal a confidence in the unique offering Vista brings to the market. Firstly Jordan’s wealth of experience will unify our current hotel portfolio and take our established operational resources and expertise to the next level for our guests, our people and our owners,” says Imbardelli.
“And secondly, Stuart’s expertise means Vista’s distinct capability to manage any and every stage of a hotel’s lifecycle is tailored to owners and investors from a place of deep industry insight.”
“While Vista has signings for new hotel builds on the horizon, we see our real opportunity for growth in third party management of existing assets to help owners realise their hotel’s potential. It’s an offering we’re excited to be establishing in Australia under Stuart’s leadership,” adds Imbardelli.
