Felix Hotel Sydney Airport by 8Hotels will offer 150 rooms situated just walking distance from the International and Domestic terminals, in a new ‘Mad Men’ inspired boutique hotel for travellers.
A brand new 150 bedroom boutique hotel designed by leading Sydney Architects Fox Johnston to capture a modern urban aesthetic with a 1960s twist will be opening later this year, with inspiration taken from the golden era of travel.
A two minute drive from Sydney Domestic Airport and 10 minutes’ drive from the international terminal, 8Hotels will launch The Felix Hotel, in collaboration with Cressida Kennedy from Space Control,
The theme runs throughout the hotel from room types; first class, business, premium economy and economy, through to conference rooms, Boeing and Airbus.
Guests will enjoy the step back in time, with all the conveniences of the most modern of hotel, with a hip inner-city vibe at an affordable price.
Onsite amenities include an outdoor rooftop cinema, a cocktail bar with views of the runway, fast wi-fi, gym, guest laundry, work spaces for groups and three classes of rooms.
The hotel has self-check in kiosks and a 24hr food shop, with locally sourced gourmet food and drink options that can be charged back to your room with the swipe of your key.
