After being rebranded in October 2017, Adelaide’s 5 star Pullman hotel is taking the first step towards its major transformation with the introduction of a new Executive Lounge named 'The Hindmarsh Club' opening by the end of the year.
The hotel, developed and owned by Hines Property, was initially opened under the 4-star Crowne Plaza brand and rebranded to the 5-star Pullman brand under AccorHotels’ management in October 2017.
Set to launch before the end of 2018, The Hindmarsh Club will be an exclusive up-market offering for the hotel’s executive, corporate, and high-volume return guests where style and luxury meets functionality and sophistication, reflecting the hotel’s repositioning as a luxury hotel.
A hallmark of all Pullman hotels, the Executive Lounge will offer private and quiet workspaces with office facilities, together with a private meeting room featuring full connectivity and the latest technology.
Global design company, Woods Bagot, has led the design of the Executive Lounge, which will provide an intimate and private setting suitable for both corporate and leisure guests.
The design of the lounge will reflect and celebrate the hotel’s unique location overlooking Hindmarsh Square, while taking inspiration from the detailed architectural and cultural elements of the city and the surrounding Botanic Gardens and parklands. The lounge will feature extensive use of brass, Adelaide marble, honed travertine and white oak that will reflect the contemporary design of Pullman Hotels and Resorts globally.
Llewellyn Wyeth, General Manager for Pullman Adelaide said the Executive Lounge will be a welcome addition to the 5-star hotel and the Adelaide market.
“Following the rebrand to Pullman in 2017, the hotel has undergone a number of enhancements including the roll out of new bedding in all guestrooms, new smart ultra HD TVs and an upgrade to our IT system. We are incredibly excited to now be embarking on this new project with our hotel owner, Hines Property and we are looking forward to welcoming guests into an executive lounge that will rival any across Australia’s hotel landscape when it opens later this year.”
