The state’s peak tourism accommodation body - Tourism Accommodation NSW - has welcomed the election of Jodi McKay as the new Labor Party leader.
TAA NSW and National CEO Michael Johnson said he looked forward to working with Ms McKay and her team in coming months.
“I would like to congratulate Ms McKay on her convincing win,” he said.

“TAA works closely with all sides of politics on developing policies which benefit our members and the tourism industry in NSW.
“As the new Opposition leader is a former NSW Tourism Minister herself, she has a lot of experience in this area and I look forward to having discussions with her on what more can be done to help drive the tourism sector forward.”
Mr Johnson also praised Kogarah MP and opposition water spokesman Chris Minns, who ran against Ms McKay.
