A collection of Hilton Brisbane team members have helped serve out 80 home-cooked meals at Ronald McDonald House as part of the weekly Make a Meal program.
Hilton Brisbane team members chipped in at South East Brisbane Ronald McDonald House last week, hosting a summer-themed ‘Make a Meal’ dinner.
Held weekly on Tuesday, the program invites teams of co-workers, community groups, friends and family members to prepare dinner for families staying at the house.
A team of 17 employees from Hilton Brisbane helped make 80 home-cooked meals, including Guest Services Agent, Ivan Volov, who arranged everything from theming and decorations to coordinating the kitchen and promoting the event through the Hilton Brisbane network.
Another key leader was apprentice chef, Tyrus Hilietule, who with the support and guidance of Chef de Partie, Stefan Preuss, cooked and prepped the dinner for the families in attendance.

Hilton Brisbane General Manager Chris Partridge said the program was opportunity for team members to develop their leadership skills and give back to the local community – aligning with one of Hilton’s Mission elements to create meaningful opportunities for team members.
“Supporting the Make a Meal is another fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the community and help make Hilton’s Travel with Purpose goals of doubling its investment in social impact and cutting its environmental footprint in half a reality," he said.
