Visitors to Queenstown on New Zealand's South Island have been enjoying a new accommodation option courtesy of finance company Property Finance NZ and developer Safari Group.
The adventure capital of New Zealand welcomed a new addition toward the end of last year as the Ramada Queenstown Central hotel was completed.
Situated at 24 Frankton Road in the heart of the central city, the development comprises 131 hotel units and two penthouse apartments, along with a restaurant and gym.
The project is the seventh in a series of collaborations between developer Safari Group and Property Finance NZ and comes with a fixed term commercial lease and a retail value of $56m.
In a statement, Property Finance New Zealand said the project was designed with the intention of providing easy access to everything Queenstown had to offer.
"Ramada Queenstown Central delivers attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere to anyone wishing to experience the beauty of Queenstown and the exciting attractions the region has to offer," the company said.
"Not only is there world-class dining and shopping within walking distance, but the stunning views of Lake Wakatipu are also readily available."
Queenstown attracts more than three million visitors a year, who come for everything from world-class skiing and snowboarding to activities in the water, the air and on land, as well as the relaxed pace of the wine trail in Gibbston.
