Bowen’s Queens Beach Hotel sold. First acquisition in Bowen by ALH handled by Leon Alaban Savills Hotels.
Another off-market transaction has been achieved by Savills Hotel with the Queens Beach Motor Hotel changing hands for an undisclosed amount.
The hotel had been owned and operated by a private consortium since 2015 and is well recognised by local patrons and tourists visiting the region.
The hotel is situated on a large corner site of 1.18 hectares approximately that has a dense suburban catchment.

Savills Hotels agent Leon Alaban said the sales process was very quick.
"The process was a short strategic off-market direct approach," said Mr Alaban.
"Queensland’s regional pub market continues to witness strong sales activity for both strategic and / or quality assets.
"We now are witnessing a number of national and interstate groups actively seeking pubs throughout Queensland.
"The current competitive tension is now providing sellers with good reason to divest."
The Queen Beach Motor Hotel is located in a region which will benefit from the expansion of the Abbot Point Port, due to the approval of the Carmichael Coal Mine and Alpha Coal Project (with conditions).
There are plenty of facilities for the locals including a sports bar, lounge bar, gaming room (19 EGM's), function room, beer garden, drive through bottleshop and 45 motel rooms.
The sale to ALH was the group's first acquisition in the town.
Savills wishes both parties every success moving forward.
