It comes ahead of eased COVID-19 restrictions for the region, with travellers able to visit the Sunshine Coast from a 250km radius from June 12.
Until then, only day trips are permitted within a distance of 150km.
The A Taste of Escape campaign will be launched across Visit Sunshine Coast’s Facebook and Instagram social media channels, enabling visitors to experience and identify the distinctive sounds of the region.
Launching the new campaign, Visit Sunshine Coast CEO, Simon Latchford, told WILLIAMS MEDIA the region was "really well placed"to take advantage of the expected boom in domestic tourism because of its reputation for ‘natural’ attractions, such as beaches, national parks and wide open spaces.

"We believe such open, natural attractions will really resonate with travellers looking to escape the lockdown," he said.
"Our campaign will be equally about encouraging visitors to support local businesses and tourism operators that will progressively open over the coming months.
"Already we have started compiling a data base of accommodation and tourism offers, as well as re-opening details for our members.
"This is all available on the Visit Sunshine Coast website, which will support local businesses convert interest in visiting the region into bookings.
“It’s been an incredibly tough year for local tourism, but with the new campaign and the easing of travel restrictions, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.”
