Ray White Gerringong agent Neil Campbell and Ray White Double Bay founder Craig Pontey have brokered the deal for the Soul of Gerringong holiday accommodation venue on the NSW South Coast.
A Sydney-based investor is set to take the reignes of coastal chic luxe holiday accommodation venue, Soul of Gerringong, after purchasing the property for more than $4 million.
Situated at 143 Belinda Street, the bespoke guesthouse will be passed on from Sydney-based builder and interior design team, Ben and Simone Mathews, who have helped build its strong reputation in high-end travel circles.
Ray White Double Bay founder Craig Pontey, who conducted the sales campaign with Ray White Gerringong agent Neil Campbell, told WILLIAMS MEDIA the new owner was going to keep the renowned character of the property intact going forward.
At a glance:
"It's a very well known property on the south coast, in terms of its finishes and the fact it is fully booked a lot of the time," he said.
"The new owners want to make sure it is business as usual when they take over.

“The previous owner's vision of restoring the property, creating a brand and a business and passing it on to the new owners has become a reality."
Mr Campbell said it was as a “rollercoaster campaign with auction scheduled the first week of isolation due to COVID-19”.
“The auction was cancelled and the sale put on hold," he said.
"If there’s ever a time in history where you can pause a sale and not damage the campaign, it was now.”

Mr Pontey said upon the restrictions easing, the vendors chose not to auction the property nor hold any open houses, to ensure the health of the small coastal town.
“We stayed in contact with a small select group of buyers who were patient and willing to wait," he said.
"After one inspection, Soul had found its new owners."
The new owners will take over the business later this year, with Ben and Simone already busy creating their latest holiday project, The Pause, which will be a sponsored online video series.
