Tabcorp Park has signed a deal with Accor to open Mantra Melbourne Melton hotel at the Victorian sporting and community hub.
Accor has taken over the trackside accommodation at Melbourne's Tabcorp Park as part of a new franchise agreement.
The deal means the 41-room hotel at Victoria’s home of metropolitan harness racing has been rebranded to Mantra Melbourne Melton.
With panoramic views over the racecourse and a mix of Standard, Deluxe and Apartment options, the venue is expected to welcome a variety of racegoers, business travellers, sporting groups and families when it reopens to the public.

"Accor continues to expand its offerings in Australia, with the Pacific being a strong region for us."
Since its creation 2007, Mantra has grown to incorporate 75 properties across the country, while also expanding overseas.
The brand's acquisition by Accor in 2018 did nothing to slow its momentum, with five new Mantra hotels having opened in the past two years, including the 146-room Mantra Albury Hotel, 214-room Mantra Epping Melbourne, 79-room Mantra Mackay, 41-room Mantra Melbourne Melton, and 50-room Mantra Traralgon.

Tabcorp Park General Manager, Gayle Harvey, said she was excited to see what opportunities the partnership would present for the venue and the Victorian harness racing industry more broadly.
"Our facility, which employs over 100 staff, plays an important role within the community in Melbourne’s West," she said.
"We are confident the hotel will operate with great success as a Mantra property and have great comfort partnering with an Australian brand of this scale, which is backed by the power of Accor’s 4.8 million ALL loyalty members in the Pacific and its global distribution channels, to capture domestic tourism.”
Mantra Melbourne Melton is situated just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, Melbourne Airport and Ballarat, and is a one hour drive from Bendigo, Daylesford and Geelong.
