The Queensland Government has identified Chermside as a key focal point for services outside the CBD and is emerging as one of Brisbane’s fastest growing suburbs with population figures set to almost double by 2036. Just 20 minutes’ drive north of the Brisbane city centre, it is unofficially recognised as the mini central business district of Brisbane's northern suburbs.
