Regional luxury growing in popularity, Halcyon House unveils new suite
One of Australia’s favourite and most unique beachside hotels, Halcyon House, has transformed their function space into a new one bedroom suite, as the trend of regional tourism continues to grow.

One of Australia’s favourite and most unique beachside hotels, Halcyon House, known for its distinctive interiors and idyllic location has unveiled their new one bedroom suite.
Halcyon House, a former surfer motel turned boutique hotel, has been in the top five of hotels in Australia on the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for the past two years.
With regional destinations only growing in popularity, Halcyon House has transformed their former functions space into a luxurious and light-filled 170 square metre suite.
Halcyon House General Manager, Mauro De Riso, said, “Regional tourism has been steadily growing in recent years, but post-Covid restrictions, the industry is on an accelerated trajectory, with many Australians looking for stays that are removed from the bustle of the city and urban areas. The trend of regional tourism will only continue to grow, and it is due to this demand for accommodation that we have transformed our function space into a beautiful new one bedroom suite.”
Featuring Halcyon House’s distinctive interiors, the new beachfront suite is perfect for mid-week escapes and weekend getaways, and includes:
- One bedroom wth a deluxe king bed
- Ensuite bathroom with a double shower, dual marble vanity, deep free-standing bath and a walk-in robe
- Guest bathroom
- Separate living and dining area
- Covered patio with garden views
- Direct access to the Halcyon House pool and Cabarita Beach
- Ability to sleep up to four guests
Stays in the new suite begin from $1,740 per night for two people.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning guests to Halcyon House to experience the beauty of Cabarita Beach and the wider Northern NSW region,” continued De Riso.
Opening in 2015, Halcyon House is famed for its interiors, which are courtesy of acclaimed interior designer Anna Spiro. Rich fabric upholstered walls, handpicked antique treasures and original art are found throughout the property, and into Halcyon House’s latest addition, Halcyon Spa. Halcyon Spa utilises iconic Australian skincare brand Sodashi in their treatments and features a boutique, dome-shaped steam room.
