A Gold Coast golden oldie, Coomera Lodge Hotel, will get a new lease on life this year with a major $3 million renovation that will revamp the entire venue, adding several new outdoor areas for the local community.

Food and beverage led hospitality operator Australian Venue Co has been investing heavily in revitalising the Queensland pub landscape, with Coomera Lodge Hotel joining the growing list of renovation projects including Kings Beach Hotel in Caloundra, Beenleigh Tavern in Logan and The Wallaby Hotel in Mudgeeraba.

The main areas of the venue will close for the renovations on Monday 19th July, with the Gaming Room remaining open for the majority of the works.

The new-look Coomera Lodge Hotel will see several new outdoor areas including a public bar terrace, bistro deck & courtyard, large weather-proof outdoor dining space, plus a huge beer garden overlooking the river. These have been designed to make the most of the natural surroundings and to give patrons plenty of extra space for alfresco drinks and dining.

The brand new kids play area is set to be the biggest in the local area and will ensure families are well catered for. Situated next to the bistro and outdoor dining space, adults will be able to socialise and enjoy a drink with friends whilst watching the littles ones be entertained.

The design and concept will focus on restoring the original charm of the historic Coomera Lodge Hotel. Natural stone, concrete, exposed brick, lush greenery and cosy wood logs will feature throughout.

With the new-look pub will come a new dining menu. The Coomera Lodge Hotel menu will champion quality and affordability and will celebrate pub classics, share plates and tasty pub snacks for guests to enjoy.

A line-up of local entertainment, community markets, weekly specials and warm customer service will create an unbeatable hospitality experience.
