Marriott International’s suite of properties across Australia and the Pacific received 15 wins and commendations in the recent highly competitive hotel and accommodation industry awards honouring the ‘best of the best’ – The Australian Hotels Association (AHA) National Awards for Excellence and the HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.

The Tasman – A Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart was awarded the Overall Hotel of the Year – Accommodation Division and The Ritz Carlton, Perth winner of the Deluxe Accommodation category along with JW Marriott Gold Coast winning the Best Redeveloped Hotel category at the AHA National Awards for Excellence, on Monday evening 28 November.

The Tasman was also named the Best New Hotel at the HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellenceand the Best Hotel in Australasia in the highly competitive Conde Nast Readers’ Choice Awards announced in October.

At the HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, held on Friday 25 November, Marriott International’s Australian and Fiji properties were recognised across 12 categories. The highly competitive HM Awards received more than 1,500 nominations across 50 categories.
