The Sebel Margate Beach sold for in excess of $22 million, confirming a record per key rate for an Accor franchised hotel, in a sale conducted by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group’s Gareth Closter.
Formerly the independently operated Pacific Hotel Brisbane, Accor now operates the 179-room Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill under a hotel management agreement announced Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PM&E, Adrian Williams.
