The long-established Leura Gardens Resort in the NSW Blue Mountains has relaunched following last year’s acquisition of the hotel by Dr Jerry Schwartz under the management of Trilogy Hotels, marking a new era of revitalisation.
As part of the relaunch, the resort has introduced a new website providing seamless booking access to the full accommodation range, from standard rooms to apartments.
Plans for the major upgrade of Olive Tree Restaurant are underway, including new furnishings, a new menu and expanded trading hours.
To heighten the guest experience, Leura Gardens Resort has launched new leisure packages, including Faulty Towers The Dining Experience, which will be staged throughout the year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary TV comedy series Fawlty Towers.
Set on four and a half acres of landscaped gardens, originally created in the 1920s by Lady Mabel Fairfax and her gardener Hector Hood, the 92-room resort features studio and family rooms, along with self-contained apartments. On-site facilities include a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, lounge, laundry, and BBQ area.
The extensive grounds, multiple conference and event spaces, and on-site restaurant make Leura Gardens Resort ideal for weddings, functions, conferences, and corporate retreats.
Leura Gardens Resort Hotel Manager Rory Douglas said the hotel was now in very good shape to provide quality accommodation for stays over autumn and the peak winter period.
“We have put a huge amount of effort into refreshing the hotel over the past six months, and it now offers truly attractive stays at affordable rates in a superb setting,” said Mr Douglas.
“We are focused on upgrading the food and beverage offering as the hotel’s ambience and beautiful gardens make it ideal for casual dining.
"The Blue Mountains has some of the best walking trails and gardens in NSW, so we are aiming to be a base for lovers of the great outdoors.
“The resort partners with the Schwartz-owned Fairmont Resort and Leura Golf Course to offer one of the most comprehensive destination conference and event venues in regional New South Wales. Being less than two hours from the Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport makes the hotel ideal for small to medium-sized day and residential events.”
Mr Douglas said further upgrades to the property would be rolled out progressively over the next year.
