The Fullerton Hotel Sydney will be hosting a purple-themed International Women's Day afternoon tea throughout March to support gender equality.
A colour-themed afternoon tea recognising the contribution of women will be held at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney throughout this month to coincide with International Women's Day on March 8.
Taking inspiration from the use of purple to highlight feminism and international efforts to achieve gender parity, the initiative will combine signature savoury items alongside specially created purple desserts.
There will also be a wine list comprising female winemakers from South Australia and Victoria.
A portion of proceeds from the Afternoon Tea, which will be available daily from 12.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. at The Bar, will be donated to UN Women Australia in support of UN Women’s programmes worldwide to ensure that every woman and girl has the same opportunities to lead, learn and earn a decent living to achieve their full potential.
