The Geelong Conference Centre has been sold to a local owner-occupier following an expressions of interest campaign.
Colliers agents Andrew Lewis, Guy Wells and Ben Young were appointed to market 20 Adams Crescent on behalf of The Salvation Army, which put the property up for sale with vacant possession.
Following interest from a broad range of users, including aged care businesses and developers, the building was sold unconditionally soon after the campaign's conclusion on March 11 for more than $6 million.

Positioned on 1.6 hectares of special use zoned land within the Eastern Park precinct, the resort-style conference centre has a building area of 4,500 square metres and includes seven conference rooms, with 46 accommodation suites, open dining area, full commercial kitchen and extensive gardens, and an in-ground swimming pool and spa.
The site adjoins the East Geelong Golf Course and also has proximity to the Geelong CBD, Eastern Beach, and Avalon Airport.
