Australian Venue Co has joined Project Unity, which has been setup by leading Australian hospitality marketing company MyGuestlist to let venues in any local community form an alliance and cross-promote to each other's audiences.
Australian Venue Co has declared its support for a new hospitality network promoting greater collaboration between venues in the wake of Covid-19.
Leveraging a decade of data and digital marketing experiences across thousands of venues and groups, local Australian tech company MyGuestlist created Project Unity to support troubled hospitality venues trading in a limited capacity.
It is now continuing the mission together with Australian Venue Co, community traders associations, precincts and thousands of other venues, groups and community hubs.

Australian Venue Co Marketing General Manager Kylie Moncur said Project Unity was a natural fit for the company.
"We're in a fortunate position where we can play a vital part in helping our team, our neighbours, our competitors and all of the wonderful providers, suppliers and people which keep this industry alive come out of the troubled situation we all find ourselves in," she said.
"Project Unity allows us to deliver this assistance, share our most precious assets such as access to audiences and help venues and workers bounce back with strength.
"We're delighted to be able to help and truly be in this together."
According to MyGuestlist, thousands of venues have already registered their interest to participate in a group marketing campaign with other businesses in their local community.
CEO David Waite said his team continued to match businesses and groups of all sizes with one another to put the industry in a strong position in preparation for the upcoming reopening of the industry in its staged format.
"We're seeing some amazing outcomes from the Project Unity initiative," he said.
"Venues which were once competitors are now helping each other cross promote to their customers and generate take-away/delivery transactions.
This activity will help as we come out of the restricted trade of the last couple months and into our new post covid world where working together will be more important than it's ever been."
