Australian Venue Co (AVC) is recruiting for more than 2500 positions across the country, in preparation for a record breaking summer of private functions & parties. Already, long lead functions bookings are forecasted to be up by 47% for November and 86% in December, compared to 2021 functions spend.
The leading hospitality group’s new hiring incentives offer new recruits a $1000 food & beverage voucher for the pub and offers existing team members a $1000 referral bonus for every successful employee referral.
Chief Marketing Officer Kylie Moncur says that the functions pipeline reflects a strong industry bounce back and a return to in-person events and celebrations.
“We’re seeing long lead event planning, a return to large corporate functions & exclusive, whole-of-venue private events. It’s going to be a record December for the hospitality industry.”
Every role that works in venue is eligible for both incentives, including roles for bartenders, wait staff, managers, chefs, cooks and porters. Applicants are encouraged to reply regardless of experience, with roles available for a variety of experience levels and paid training available.
In addition to the hiring incentives, Australian Venue Co offers all employees opportunities to build skills for life in a dynamic, people-focused industry.
Career hospitality professionals are encouraged to join one of the country’s fastest-growing hospitality groups, because of the group’s commitment to development, training, mobility opportunities and internal promotion opportunities. Students, part time workers and others who are looking for short term job opportunities are encouraged to apply, to build skills in hospitality that are extremely translatable into different professions.
Those new to the industry are encouraged to apply, and can participate in paid, in-house training exclusively designed for those with no prior industry experience.
