Following continued growth for the Holiday Inn Express brand, Pro-invest Hotels is pleased to announce two key appointments - Tejas Amin to the role of Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park and Daniel Pearce as Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport.
As a dedicated manager with strong leadership experience, Tejas has almost a decade of experience working for some of India’s most luxurious hotels including stints with Taj Hotels, Leela Palaces and Movenpick.
Relocating to Australia in 2017, and starting out as an F&B attendant at Holiday Inn Express Adelaide, he has spent the last five years working his way up the ranks thanks to the guidance and support of the Pro-invest Hotels team which has seen him promoted to the role of Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park.
In addition, Daniel Pearce has been appointed to the role of Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport after managing hotel operations at Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park for the past year.
With a Master's Degree in International Hotel Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Daniel brings more than 17 years hospitality experience to the role following positions at a number of Sydney properties including Little National Hotel - Sydney, Meriton Suites - Sydney, Adina Apartment Hotels, Travelodge, Medina and Vibe Hotel North Sydney.
Shantha de Silva, Head of Operations for Pro-invest Hotels said, “It’s been a busy year for us with continued growth in key cities across Australia and New Zealand and we’re excited to have both Tejas and Daniel in the business.”
“It’s been wonderful to watch Tejas’ growth in the business as well as seeing Daniel’s management experience advance further. Their recent appointments are a testament to their incredible talent and hard work and I know they will continue to go from strength to strength,” he said.
Both appointments reflect the growing presence of the Holiday Inn Express brand, which now boasts ten properties across Australia and New Zealand. As one of IHG’s fastest growing brands globally, the hotels are a popular choice for cost savvy travellers and those that love the brand’s free breakfast offering.
Across all Holiday Inn Express hotels, guests can kick start their day with a complimentary Express Start Breakfast that includes everyone’s favourite hot and cold options or for those in a rush, there’s the choice of the Express Start Breakfast Grab & Go option instead.
