Reward Group has completed an extensive rejuvenation of the Marriott Vacation Club guestrooms at the JW Marriott Surfers Paradise, elevating guest luxury with meticulous, high-end upgrades.
Reward Group director, Christopher Donohue said the goal was to enhance the comfort and luxury that Marriott vacation members and guests expect.
“Our team worked hand-in-hand with the owner’s group to identify and implement the best design solutions, incorporating premium materials and custom-made features that elevate each space.
“The project entailed a complete bathroom overhaul, new floor finishes, custom-made joinery, natural stone surfaces, and enhanced lighting throughout the guestrooms.”
The redesigned spaces designed by DBI embody a sophisticated blend of modern elegance and comfort, aligning with the hotel’s reputation for upscale hospitality.
The construction process was staged to minimise disruption to hotel operations and guest experiences, a core aspect of Reward Group’s project management ethos. The team ensured that all refurbishment activities were carried out with minimal impact, prioritising the comfort and convenience of both staff and visitors.
Mr Donohue said Reward Group adopted a strategic, collaborative approach, working closely with the property owners and interior designers to refine and bring to life the vision for the refurbishment.
“This method ensured that the project not only met but exceeded expectations, enhancing the guest experience while respecting the hotel’s iconic status.”
Each guestroom now features thoughtfully curated elements, from premium stone countertops to custom joinery that complements the refined aesthetic of the interiors. Designed to combine functionality with luxury, the bathrooms offer custom showers with premium fittings while new lighting aims to add warmth throughout the rooms and natural stone countertops introduce a touch of classic elegance.
Reward Group’s current portfolio also includes high-profile refurbishment projects such as the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney, the Pullman Cairns International, the Sydney Hotel Morris, and the Rydges Hotel North Sydney further solidifying their reputation as Australia's premier hotel refurbishment specialists.
Mr Donohue commented that with decades of expertise in large-scale hotel refurbishments, Reward Group continues to be an industry leader, having completed over 20,000 guestroom renovations across Australia.
“The successful upgrade of Marriott Vacation Club Surfers Paradise stands as another testament to their dedication to quality and their ability to execute projects that significantly enhance both guest satisfaction and property value.”
