Pan Pacific Melbourne announce the appointment of Carl Forrest to the position of Hotel Manager.

As an accomplished hospitality and tourism professional, Carl brings over 24 years of experience to his new role, having worked in management roles for luxury hotel brands throughout Australia including the Yarra Valley Lodge, Lindenderry at Red Hill, Dunkeld’s Royal Mail Hotel and three View Hotels in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Carl joins Pan Pacific Melbourne from the Marnong Estate where he oversaw the successful growth of the brand, providing strategic oversight for the $60 million property and positioned Marnong Estate Wines as a leading producer in Melbourne’s north, earning multiple gold medals during his tenure.

As Hotel Manager, Carl’s key focuses will be overseeing the hotel pillar including on-site restaurant Dock 37 Bar & Kitchen and the hotel’s renowned High Tea offerings. He will also be maintaining and elevating the property’s Pacific Club Lounge operations, ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience continues to align with the luxury standards and brand values that the Pan Pacific Hotels Group Australia represent.
