A gaming hotel in the heart of Mackay's CBD on the Queensland coast is expected to generate strong interest after it was presented to market.

"If you can't do all aspects, it can be a bit tough, but you can with this hotel."
Mr Bargwanna added there had been a resurgence in the demand for hotels in regional Queensland.
"We've been very successful in regional areas such as Weipa, Mount Isa, and Bowen," he said.
"Pubs like Taylor's Hotel tend to be well sought after because they deliver a really good bottom line."
