Known as ‘The Grand Dame”, the Grand view Hotel sold by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Senior Vice President Tom Gleeson.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group is delighted to announce that the Grand View Hotel, Cleveland has been added to the Kickon Group stable.
Known as ‘The Grand Dame”, the Grand view Hotel started its life as ‘Cleveland House’ in the early 1850’s and fast become a cornerstone of the Redland Bay region, now Kickon hope to add to this history with a multiple million renovation planned in the near future.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating the importance of the history of the venue while taking advantage of the magical outdoor space and ocean view. Its going to be really special” says Craig Shearer, Founder Director of Kickon Group.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Senior Vice President Tom Gleeson handled the off-market transaction on the back of the recent high-profile transactions of the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel and The Lord Stanley, East Brisbane.
“The underlying fundamentals were clear with the Grand View Hotel being a large format hotel within the tightly held South East corridor, however, the intangibles this Queensland hospitality icon possess is rare and I am excited to see what Kickon Group do to complement its vast and rich history, it’s been a privilege to be involved.”
The Grand View Hotel current layout boasts a public bar, bistro, 35 gaming machines, a vast beer garden and multiple break out function rooms. Craig Shearer adds “We have partnered with award-winning architects BSPN to create plans that will breathe life back into this amazing landmark.”
