The countdown is on to the opening of Glenelg’s newest boutique accommodation – the Durham Serviced Apartments - just in time for the summer holidays.
Part of South Australian owned and operated Legacy Hotels & Apartments, the 4-star rated Durham Serviced Apartments will open its doors in December, providing 56 luxury studio apartments conveniently located in the heart of Adelaide’s premier beachside destination.
Suited to business and leisure travellers, the property features short-stay studio apartments ranging from one to two bedrooms; each with kitchen and laundry facilities, high-speed wi-fi, 50” Casting TVs and Nespresso coffee machines.
Most rooms will have a private balcony and there is the option to interconnect rooms for families.
The property is the third operated by the Legacy Hotels & Apartments brand belonging to South Australian property developer Karidis Corporation.
Karidis Corporation’s executive Peter Karidis says Durham Serviced Apartments will deliver a new benchmark for serviced accommodation at Glenelg and is part of Legacy’s brand vision to merge hotel-standard luxury with the amenities of a serviced apartment.
“Karidis Corporation has a long history of supporting local Glenelg businesses and the community; in the 1970s my family built and operated the successful International Motel on Anzac Highway. In later years we built and operated serviced apartments in Glenelg up until 2020,” he says.
“With the Legacy Brand, we return to Glenelg to build upon this foundation and further support local businesses, associations, clubs and the community yet again.
“With its priceless central Glenelg location, modern room amenities and flexible booking options for groups of all sizes, Durham Serviced Apartments is the perfect destination for the next getaway.
“We are excited to welcome guests in December, and urge visitors to get on our website and book early and be among the first to experience the property.”
