ResortBrokers’ West Victoria Broker Hugh Thomas has listed boutique Daylesford property Hotel Bellinzona for client The Houses Hotel Group.
The 63-key luxury hotel is being offered to market for $16 million.
Hotel Bellinzona re-opened to guests in late 2020 following The Houses Hotel Group’s multimillion-dollar renovation that saw the early 20th century former guesthouse transformed into a deluxe hotel, the largest in Daylesford.
“Hotel Bellinzona gave Melburnians a new reason to come to Daylesford,” said Mr Thomas.
“The town has been a favourite getaway for over 100 years thanks to its natural mineral waters and natural beauty.”
“Hotel Bellinzona leverages that appeal by offering a sophisticated destination for relaxation, fine dining and retreats.”
“You won’t find better than Hotel Bellinzona in the Daylesford area for conferences, weekenders, yoga retreats, corporate retreats, weddings and board meetings.”
Located 75 minutes’ drive from Melbourne, Hotel Bellinzona has three complementary revenue streams: occupancy, fine dining and conferencing.
The hotel’s signature F&B venue is the 160-seat gourmet restaurant The Virgin Kitchen, and its conference and event spaces can accommodate up to 650 people.
“Rarely does this kind of opportunity come along,” said Mr Thomas.
“Hotel Bellinzona offers a comprehensive guest experience for Melbourne’s sophisticated corporate and leisure travellers in a destination that Melburnians keep returning to time and again.”
