Located on a large approx. 33ha parcel of land, Homeground is strategically positioned approximately 20 minutes west of Gladstone City to provide easy access for workers to major industrial projects.
The 4-star complex features extensive facilities including a 500-seat dining room and licensed tavern, resort style swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gymnasium, sporting courts and recreation centres.

As part of the sales process, Decmil is offering to lease the village back for 20 plus years on a triple net lease with initial net income at $6m per annum and 3% fixed reviews year on year. Decmil will continue to operate and maintain the camp to accommodate future projects in the catchment.
The property offers development potential with approvals in place for an additional 1,408 rooms.

Decmil Interim CEO Vin Vassallo said the offer to lease back Homeground from a buyer over a long-term period reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to regional Queensland.
“The strong outlook for major projects and the Gladstone region as a whole gives us confidence to provide attractive lease terms to an incoming owner,” he said.
