Speaking to THE HOTEL CONVERSATION, Cameron McKillop said that although the property originally was zoned E3 Rural, this was upgraded to SP3 Tourism in 2019 to reflect its ideal location and continued use. "Only 6 other properties in the Wingecarribee Shire have been granted this zoning.

Following this, a DA was submitted and approved in September 2020 for a Function Centre with a 170-person capacity suitable for larger weddings, dinners and conventions, with the concept for a 60-room hotel, 30-cottage 5-star Country Resort cementing its potential as a renowned tourism destination for the Southern Highlands."
