Percy said Cambooya has a population of around 1,600 people and is expanding as the town is attractive to people who want to work in Toowoomba but live a country lifestyle.
“Attractive home incentives and the new Cambooya Ridge subdivision offering blocks of land from $110,000 is a further drawcard for those looking to settle in the town,” he said.
He added that Cambooya was home to the famous author, “Steele Rudd” (real name Arthur Hoey Davis) whose literacy works featured the great Australian characters, Dad ‘n’ Dave.
The Bull & Barley Inn is being offered for sale at $1.9 million.
