Accor completes deal with Salter Brothers to add nine Mercure hotels to its growing portfolio
With the $620m acquisition of the Travelodge portfolio by Salter Brothers now complete, a total of 10 hotels have joined Accor’s portfolio, including nine Mercure hotels and an ibis Styles property in Sydney’s CBD. The portfolio acquisition was negotiated by Sam McVay of McVay Real Estate.
Travelodge Hotels is set to open a new 209-room hotel at Sydney Airport with all-day dining and a late night bar, as well as an 800-bay car park, offering the perfect layover for the no-nonsense traveller seeking comfort and convenience at Australia’s busiest airport.
