The Victoria Hotel Goondiwindi sold to ALH through agents Christian Tsalikis, Leon Alaban and Tony Bargwanna of Savills Hotels.
It was seen as one of the finest hotels in the Southern Downs, Queensland and now, through its long history, the Victoria Hotel is under new management again through an off-market sale to ALH Group.
Savills Hotels are pleased to announce the sale of the Victoria Hotel and are extremely grateful to the vendors for entrusting them with the sale.

The hotel, with its stunning architecture has been owned and operated by the Klein Family since November 2006 and well recognised at both the QHA (Queensland Hotels Association) and AHA (Australian Hotels Association) industry events over their tenure.
At a Glance:
The history of the hotel is a colourful one, starting out as a modest single-storey building during the reign of its namesake, Queen Victoria.
In the 1920s major renovations and extensions were made to the building including extra rooms and lounge areas, by the Pendock family.

There are stories of criminals being held there while waiting their trial, horsemen riding into the bar area and lassooing bottles off the shelves and even a boat being rowed into the pub during the 1956 floods.
Savills Hotels is extremely positive the market and sales activity for the remainder of 2020 will be strong, with Queensland assets, in particular, positioned to be a more attractive option with higher yielding returns compared to those being witnessed interstate.
