With a career spanning more than 25 years, Colliers welcome Neil Scanlan as the National Director of Hotels Asset Management, based in Brisbane.
Colliers Head of Hotels Australia Karen Wales said she was thrilled to have Neil Scanlan join the Colliers Hotels team.
“Neil has been involved in management within the hotel and resort industry for over 25 years. His exposure to all facets of the industry including property operations, sales and marketing, asset management and owner relations will be a huge benefit to the Colliers team,” Karen Wales said.
“Neil will oversee Hotel Asset Management to ensure owner investment is maximised via operating performance and capital value of the property, while at the same time ensuring the physical condition of the hotel asset is maintained.
“Colliers has established itself as the market leaders in hotel asset and investment management and under the leadership of Neil this will continue to soar,” Karen Wales added.
Neil Scanlan rejoins Colliers from Accor where he was the General Manager.
In his time at Accor, Neil has held several senior operational roles, such as Regional General Manager of New Zealand and Fiji, Regional General Manager of Queensland and he successfully headed Accor’s Pacific Franchise department.
Neil has also previously held the role of Board Member of Queensland Tourism Industry Council, Board Member of the New Zealand Hotel Council and Tourism Advisory Board Member of the Property Council of Australia.
