A pristine headland property with sweeping views out to the Coral Sea on the northern beaches of Cairns is for sale through Jay Beattie of Colliers International.
A tropical land parcel owned by Queensland tourism icon Rob Prettejohn is for sale at Trinity Beach just north of Cairns.
Comprising 18.81 hectare of freehold land, Taylor Point combines pristine bushland with private beaches, offering picturesque views of the natural landscape.
The site is being marketed internationally through Colliers International in a bid to attract a buyer with a vision.

Mr Prettejohn is known for building the nearby Kewarra Beach Resort and Thala Beach Nature Reserve, two award winning projects that have set the benchmark for eco-friendly tourism developments in Australia.
While the Taylor Point property has approvals for a subdivision in place, Colliers International Cairns Associate Director Jay Beattie told WILLIAMS MEDIA there was some justification for other development options across the headland.

"Being able to have a look at what other options would suit the local area, while having an underlying approval, adds a different layer," he said.
"In most circumstances, especially on the coastline, everything is really built up but this a site that is still in its virgin state."

Taylor Point is zoned as “environmental management”, meaning the property’s future use will complement the surrounding natural features.
Mr Beattie said that a recent council decision approving plans to develop an apartment complex on land directly opposite the rear of the site meant there could be portions of Taylor Point that were suitable for alternative development.
“Whether it becomes a prestige estate home, a luxury resort, an exclusive residential enclave or something more substantial, Taylor Point is a slice of inspiration ready to be redefined,” he said.

"The secluded site is set amid the laidback atmosphere of Trinity Beach and delivers outstanding panoramic mountain, coastal and ocean views with absolute beach frontage, while also being close to a major shopping centre, schools and other vital infrastructure.
Mr Beattie said the site is being offered to market as a single title parcel with multiple street access and boundaries extending to the high-water mark.
The operational works approval for a subdivision remains current to June 2025, with lot sizes ranging from 1000m2 upwards to 4ha with designated building envelopes.
Colliers International are inviting expressions of interest for the site until 19 November.
