Jones Real Estate announce the successful sale of renowned Micawber Tavern in Belgrave for $4.7 million in an off-market transaction.

The deal was facilitated by Paul Jones, Managing Director of Jones Real Estate, who introduced the much-loved pub to seasoned hospitality operator and founder of Only Hospitality Group, Julien Moussi.

The Micawber Tavern, a beloved and well-established local pub in the Yarra Ranges region, has earned a reputation as a local gathering place, drawing both locals and visitors with its warming atmosphere. In warmer months, the tavern’s Creekside beer garden and live music offers a relaxed escape, while in the winter months, the cosy fire creates a warm and inviting space for dining and drinks.

Jones Real Estate’s strategic guidance and long-standing relationship with the purchaser played a key role in securing this deal.

Moussi, known for repositoning several Melbourne pubs, including Hotel Collingwood and Beehive Hotel in Hawthorn, is committed to enhancing Micawber Tavern’s legacy while preserving its place as a community stalwart.
